Mid-Term Humanities across Borders Meeting in Amsterdam
20 - 21 October 2018
On the heels of the Fifth ACGS Conference in Amsterdam on 18–19 October 2018, members of the HaB network will convene to discuss the creation of HaB syllabi along the four key sites of knowledge/meaning: Food, Place, Word and Practice.
On the first day of the meeting, after an introductory note by Aarti Kawlra and Philippe Peycam, the four working groups will present their draft syllabi. This will be followed by a discussion as well as critical feedback from HaB advisors Françoise Verges and Chayan Vaddhanaphuti.
On Day 2, the topics of discussion will be the HaB events planned for ICAS 11, as well as the proposed edited volume of HaB Critical Pedagogies.
